قِبلة  ·  Prayer direction

Find the Qibla, wherever you're standing.

Allow location and compass access below, and the needle will point straight toward the Kaaba in Mecca — helping you align for salah anywhere in the world.

Compass
Most reliable method (recommended on Android): your phone's web browser sensor can be inaccurate or inconsistent depending on your device. For a dependable result, open your phone's built-in Compass app (not this website) and physically turn until it reads —° — that is your Qibla direction, calculated from your selected location. The live needle below is a convenience layer on top of the browser's sensor and may drift; the degree number is always correct.

Use your phone as a Qibla compass

Your location is set to Beirut by default. Enable the compass below. The compass uses your selected location's Qibla bearing and your phone's orientation sensor.

For best results: hold your phone flat, remove magnetic/metal objects, and slowly rotate once if the compass seems unstable. If the needle is consistently off by the same amount, face a known true-north reference (a map app, the sun at solar noon, or another compass) and tap Calibrate above to correct it. The map bearing/degrees above is always the reliable ground truth.
How it works
Step 1

Set your location

The Qibla bearing is calculated from the default location. The compass shows the direction from True North.

Step 2

Check the bearing

The Qibla bearing is calculated mathematically from the current location toward the Kaaba.

Step 3

Use the compass

If your phone has a reliable orientation sensor, enable the compass and turn until the Qibla needle points upward.

The map is the primary reference because phone compass sensors can be affected by calibration, device hardware, magnetic interference, and browser limitations.
